Our Town

Welcome to the 23rd annual edition of Our Town, Your Guide to Living in the Mid-Willamette Valley.

Those of us fortunate enough to live, work and play here believe we are surrounded by the best Oregon has to offer. We live in an area rich in beauty. From the green Douglas fir trees that cover the snow-capped Cascade Mountains, to the lush farmlands of the valley floor, the mid-valley offers a constantly changing panorama of colors and recreational opportunities.

Whether one lives on a small farm near Scio, or in Corvallis — home of the Oregon State University Beavers — we’re within easy driving distance of varied shopping, excellent medical care, and educational opportunities of all levels, from pre-school through doctoral programs.

Our Town is a handy reference guide for long­time mid-valley residents, or newcomers. We encourage you to bookmark Our Town, keep it handy and use it often to discover the many resources available in Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon, Sweet Home and the many other towns that make up this special place we call home.
